RedHeads started back in the 90s. A band of moonlighting winemakers determined to break free from corporate shackles to make ‘real’ wines the way they liked. Tiny batches. Hands-on crafting. Big, big flavours.
Today, in our Barossa winery, our aim is the same as ever. We hunt down and liberate premium parcels of fruit that are destined to be blended into some bland, big-name wine. Then we give them the love and attention that great fruit deserves in our own artisanal winery.
We work with over 20 varieties. All going on to create wines with unique character. No two wines are ever the same.
Meet the dedicated team behind RedHeads, who work tirelessly from vine to bottle and beyond, to ensure our wines can be enjoyed around the world at the peak of their condition.

Henry’s winemaking experience extends to the Rhône, Bordeaux, the Ardèche and Australia including at the original RedHeads Studio in the McLaren Vale. He still returns every year to make his beloved Wilson Gunn.
